Tom Zaki and Jamie Kalafut

In the summer of 2022, nearly 10 years after Tom and Jamie both attended Lehigh University and somehow never crossed paths, they swiped right on Tinder!Jamie messaged first and they quickly bonded over their shared love of hiking, Nic Cage movies, and—most of all—Tom's cat, Zelda, wearing a silly Christmas hat in one of his profile pictures! See for yourself in the gallery.Before long, Tom and Jamie were spending nearly every weekend together—adventuring in the Catskills or the Adirondacks, exploring NYC, or cooking up something delicious! They quickly discovered that they shared similar values and life goals, and they knew they'd found something special. The rest, as they say, is history!

On a recent trip to the Adirondacks, Tom and Jamie went on a snowshoeing adventure to Cat Mountain. After breaking trail for over an hour and navigating harrowing stream crossings (where Tom fell and nearly lost the ring!), they decided to take a break for lunch. Surrounded by the evergreen forest freshly blanketed in snow, Tom declared it would be a great time to try out their new tripod, too. After a handful of pictures, Tom sneakily hit record on the camera, knelt down next to Jamie, and popped the question!  Overcome by the love they felt for each other, the beauty of the woods, and the shininess of the ring, Jamie enthusiastically said YES! 

Please note that there is limited parking available at the venue, so we encourage guests staying overnight to plan to take the shuttle! There will be scheduled pick-up times & locations before the ceremony, and the shuttles will run continuously as needed for the rest of the night. Check back for the pick-up schedule as we get closer to the wedding date.
